World Tourism Day
On 27 September observed World Tourism Day orgnaised by United Nation World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) . UNWTO celebrated the first World Tourism Day as an international observance on September 27, 1980. This date was chosen and in 1970 the UNWTO Statute was adopted. The adoption of this law is considered an important milestone in world tourism. Today’s goal is to raise awareness of the role of tourism in the international community and how it affects social, cultural, political and economic values around the world.

This theme means as tourism is a leading provider of employment and opportunities in the countless rural communities around the world.
Aim of World Tourism Day
This day aims to raise awareness of the international community about the importance of tourism and its social, cultural, political and economic value. Tourism day can help advance global cooperation beyond the current pandemic, bringing people together and building solidarity and trust.
